This follows with what I said above, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find a good deal. Eye clinics are businesses first and they are in a highly competitive field. So, it’s possible that you can find a legitimate discount and may even be able to negotiate the price yourself in a highly competitive market.

Some eye doctors will publish coupons in the yellow pages, the newspaper or in local flyers. You may find that some will offer a discount for cash payments as well. Senior citizens can sometimes get an age based discount. Be sure to ask about LASIK discounts during your consultation.

How to Find a Bargain

Searching the internet may yield a great bargain. Because there can be a wide price difference from city to city you may even want to vacation somewhere just to have your LASIK procedure. This may even save you enough to pay for most of your trip, thus getting you a free vacation. Some even go as far as to consider international locations and this type of travel is becoming big business as other countries are often cheaper and have the same technology as we have in the U.S.

While LASIK eye surgery cost is a big consideration, you don’t have to let it stop you from having the LASIK procedure. Prices have become affordable and financing is available and you might even get a vacation along with your LASIK surgery.
